Lin's Mill (c) Historic Environment Scotland (Tom and Sybil Gray Collection)

There were a number of mills on the River Almond and one can be seen from the aqueduct. The aqueduct is also known locally as Lin's Mill, after William Lin who lived at the mill. Local legend says he was the last man in Scotland to die of the plague in 1645.
