Copper Time Ticket (c) Falkirk Archives & Museums

This copper Time Ticket was used for this section of the canal heading west. On the reverse side it says 3rd STAGE, ONE HOUR & 45 MIN W. The 3rd stage was between Winchburgh and the Avon Aqueduct. Canal company employees possibly used these to go on the boats.
